Rougarou fall to Cane Cutters on Like A Boss Night

LeJeune shines as Rougarou fall to Cutters

Baton Rouge, La. – July 23, 2019 – The Baton Rouge Rougarou honored the best bosses of local companies as they took on the Acadiana Cane Cutters on Tuesday night at Pete Goldsby Field. The Rougarou fell, 8-1, to the Acadiana Cane Cutters in the first game of the two-game series.  

The Cane Cutters scattered three runs across the third, fourth and fifth innings to take a 3-0 lead.

Brennan Lambert scored as Lukas Polanco reached on an error in the seventh inning to cut the Rougarou deficit to 3-1. The Cane Cutters secured the 8-1 win over the Rougarou after plating five runs across the eighth and ninth innings. 

Logan LeJeune led the Rougarou, going 2-for-4 on the night. Starting pitcher Ashton Davis held the Cane Cutters to one run in 3.1 innings pitched.
