After being shut out by the Acadiana Cane Cutters on Saturday, the Baton Rouge Rougarou put a little lagniappe in their rematch on Sunday. The Rougarou pounded 19 hits on the way to a 17-7 win over the Cane Cutters at Pete Goldsby Field. The game lasted 3 hours and 38 minutes with a 32-minute rain delay.

But everyone went home happy as every starter reached base at least once. Brock Louque went 3-for-4 with 2 RBIs, Jack Marcantel went 3-for-4, Nicolas Schwing went 3-for-3. Trip Dobson, Kenneth Berard and Jake McCann all hit doubles.

But the big hitter of the night was Jacob Keys, who went 3-for-5 with a double and a grand slam to finish with six RBIs.

Rougarou pitching was solid as well with starter Larson Fabre, winning pitcher Jake Clifton, Tanner Nguyen and Colt Lejeune holding the Cane Cutters to seven hits, walking only two and striking out 11.
