Now it's a streak.
The Baton Rouge Rougarou won its third game in a row at Abilene, taking down the Flying Bison with a 4-1 victory.
The Rougarou needed only three hits to defeat Abilene and scored all of their runs in the first inning.
Josh Lim led off the game with a walk then Taylor Walters walked. Ty Simonelli reached on a fielder's choice that ended in a two-base error by Abilene's second baseman. That allowed Lim to score.
Trip Dobson 's sacrifice fly scored Walters. Hayes Hebert singled to center field to drive in Simonelli. Hebert scored on a single by Jesse Lord.
Rougarou pitchers Larson Fabre (W, 2-1), Jake Clifton and John Wade held Abilne to six hits, walking three and striking out five. The Flying Bison scored their lone run in the bottom of the second.
